Rain, Nicole & Mitchel and more Rain

Well it is the rainy season, and this weekend was no exception. Out of the last 4 weddings I photographed, three of them were shot in the rain. So yesterdays wedding it came as no surprise to me when when the heavens opened. At this point I am contemplating on purchasing a wetsuit to complete my wardrobe.

Initially the plan was to have an outside garden wedding, this was moved to the chapel. No amount of rain was going to dampen the atmosphere on the contrary there was a buzz throughout the service.

The family photographs and group shots posed a challenge, armed with umbrellas it was interesting and the wedding guests took it in their stride.

As soon as the group shots were finished it stopped raining and then it was Nicole & Mitchels turn. You guys rock, if I had to score you guys it would be a 10/10. Thanx Guys. Here are a few I managed to upload, before lights out. Enjoy Cape Town and Thailand. Mario

Sugar Cones, Rozanne,George=Awesome Greek Wedding

Sunday was recovery day,and was spent going to see "THE LION KING" at Montecasino. For those of you who have not yet seen this production make a plan. IT'S SPECTACULAR.Enough ranting.

I had the privelege of shooting Rozanne & Georges wedding this weekend. What a wedding, from the getting ready to the end I had an amazing time. As there service was scheduled to start at 17h30 we photographed the family and B&G beforehand. Using available light throughout it was fun all the way. I must admit that having attended the David Beckstead workshop I was keen to try out new ideas, backdrops and locations.

Rozanne looked absolutely stunning in a Gert vd Merwe creation which reflected her personality and style. George you made me feel at home and it was an absolute pleasure photographing you guys, thanks for being game to so many of my wild and crazy ideas. Here are a few from the shoot. Will be posting some wild plate breaking pics and Greek dancing soon.

Enjoy the honeymoon. Opah! Mario
